Weekly Sailing Classes (July 7 through August 15, 2008)

  • Registration, Orientation, & Swim Testing: Monday mornings
  • Morning Program:* 9:00 am to Noon Tuesday - Friday
  • Afternoon Program:* 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday
  • Sailors will be assigned boats, based on our instructors' assessment of their skill level.

Please note:

  • Pre-registration is recommended.
  • Tuition is $80/week for Vinalhaven residents, and $100/week for non-residents.
  • Racing is $25/session.
  • Any new sailos will need to take a swim test Monday morning. Please bring your own own towel.
  • All sailors must bring their own U.S. Coast Guard approved Type III life jacket to every class.
  • No sailor will is allowed near the boats or on the dock without a life jacket.

On-line Internet Sailor Registration Form

For each sailor, complete the following Registration Form and then click the form's submit button. You must complete all entry fields to have the registration request accepted. Then download the Island Sail Medical Form and the Island Sail Waiver Form, which are MicrosoftWord files.

Notice: The Island Sail Medical & Waiver Forms must be signed by a parent/guardian. These signed forms must be presented Monday at Registration. Sailors without properly signed forms will not be allowed to participate.
