The mission at the heart of our organization is to help foster confident, capable young people through the power of sailing. For generations, Island Sail has been a part of island life on Vinalhaven. Hundreds of kids, both local and visiting, have faced challenges and experienced victories large and small thanks to our small but mighty fleet and our dedicated staff.

We are currently raising funds to build and install floats that have served us well for decades but are now in need of replacement.

Island Sail is a non-profit Maine corporation, with 501(c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service. Our EIN is 01-0527850. We maintain a small volunteer board of directors.
Donations are tax-deductible.
